Thanks for reporting - do you happen to have a savegame too?

It's not a problem that the mill produces that much, because blackroot isn't needed for anything else. I'm wondering why the same hasn't happened with the corn though - maybe the spiders ate it all.

Hello and thanks, here is a savegame.

You are right, blackroot isn't needed anywhere else, I was just building more and more farms for I thought it was all used - until I noticed the stack of blackroot flour in the stock.

I think for corn flour the economy limits work, there are 15 corn flour in stock and the rest of corn is inventory - ready for the spiders to eat :-)

The checks in the mill for corn and blackroot are identical - the mill skips producing blackroot if there is corn available and the economy needs cornmeal and does not need blackroot flour. So, if there is no corn available, the mill will just continue producing blackroot flour, and vice versa. All the economy limit does is make sure that cornmeal gets more production cycles when enough corn is available.

I agree it's not intuitive that more than the limit get produced, but I can't think of a better design at the moment.
