Bug Description

If you join a multiplayer game you could easily change the tribe of your opponent:

1. In clients box click on the button to get the same color of the opponent
2. Change the tribe in Players box
3. Change your player color in Clients box again

A Player shouldn't be able to change the tribe of some one else, i think.

When a player toggles through the slots, occupied slots should be stepped over. Not sure how easy this is to implement though, because we have to consider 2 players hitting their button at the same time.

Actually, 2 clients can control the same player, so it makes sense that both players can change this.

How about having a "Done" button, so players can lock their slots?

Is this intended? First i thought this is very interesting, but now i think there is no use case which is useful for controlling one player by two clients. I don't think that this makes sense :-S

That sounds good to me.

That is my wife's and my favorite way of playing widelands. And now with the filtering buttons in the message box it is even easier to distribute tasks.

not such a huge fan - the dialogue is already very complicated, this done button is even more confusing. Personally I do not see a problem as is except that it is slightly unexpected. But as long as all players are on good terms, they should be able to converge on a play setting for everybody. Is there really an access-control element required here? +1 for wontfix.
