Regarding your post in the merge request: I tested it and can confirm your observation. More over removing both waterways and rebuilding them (without adding an additional flag) solves the issue. I wonder why it didn't work on my laptop though, maybe i did not removed both waterways before rebuilding them.

There is a lot of log output, now. Which do you need for further investigation?
