Pressing Options shows "Unexpected error" on r7768 in OS X Yosemite

Bug Description

Hi,
Being a settlers 2 fan, I wanted to try Widelands. I am running MacOS X Yosemite 10.10.5. I wanted to test the latest version of Widelands, so I downloaded r7768 from http://www.widelands.org/~sirver/wl/macos_daily/. After dragging the game to Applications, I right-click and chose Open. Eventually the game opens, and I click to load the main menu. I wanted to change to full screen, so I press Options. But here I am greeted by a message of "Unexpected error during the game". It says:
"FileSystem::create: could not find file or directory:
/Applications/Widelands.app/Contents/MacOS//./data/locale
Please report this problem..."
I attach a screenshot of the message.

After seeing this error, I instead downloaded the version "build-18". This version does not have the above problem, I can press Options with no errors.
