Soldier walking deadlock outside of buildings

Bug Description

I got a situation where I got attacked by the AI and the soldiers of my citadels defended. After defending they then didn't go home but somehow seam to got deadlocked or something so that none of them moves anymore. Now they are all standing outside of their buildings and don't get back in.

Attached is a savegame, played from a trunk build (bzr6818).

Thanks for reporting this issue.

I can confirm the soldiers in the save game are stuck. We've had some similar reports on this in the past, for instance bug 730070 and recently bug 1245187. Though it is hard to tell whether these are caused by the same underlying issue or merely appear similar. I find it slightly suspicious that this is the second bug like this in a short while; random chance or could it be happening more often lately?

Is it the same issue as in bug-1457425 "Fight never end (also not 2h later)" This one was fixed in rev 7485...

Since we haven't had any response since the previous comment, I'm going to go out on a limb and mark this as a duplicate of bug 1457425. If anyone are able to trigger similar problems in a recent development version, please leave a comment here or file a new bug report. :)

(Note that this problem might not be 100% fixed, since there is some ongoing work with bug 1395238 as well)
