What about 1-8 as it is currently, and then 16 and 32 instead of 9 and 10? I think it seems reasonable to make the diameter grow faster (exponential vs. linear) when having big values.

I don't see trouble with Amount of different Sizes-Editor may select eg from Value-Set 1-256 however that get mapped to Radius-Value for Brush. Due to A=r^2*pi the Effect is already exponential but you are right that even more Ponteial could be useful for larger Diameters. However- I did figure out that IMO Stepping by Multiplication of Two (2^n) the Steps are to large for sophisticated Use -- I would add a Interims-Multiplicator of SQRT(2) about 1.4..1.5 and then stepping in Radius means 1/4 or x4 Amount of Area and that's IMO reasonable smoother for the Editor. Faizt: I don't see Trouble with putting 256 Values on Selectiojn-Bar for Diamter and if Exponetial Radius than please Base smaller than 2 as quickly the Hammer gots larger than you can handle. eg 2^8 means 256 means 64K Area ... quick flatting of whole map. Eg. four Strokes and it's WaterWorld with 4 Impacts and 4 other for the Centers between Impact-Centers means it's completely WaterWorld. I don't argue against Value 256 but if smaller Tool is just 128 than he need x16 Times that smaller Tool. You may try some Graphic-Tools to paint anything and you may find that this Growth for Brush-Size does not match to Needs of Map-Designer, which do anyway a similar Job as tehy use a Kind of 3D-Image-Design and aside of Matters concerning to Game-Requirements (Mountain-only may looks esthetic but is unplayable) the Map shall looks noice as well ... I assume that at least and also hope that. :) Perhaps ask any ArtWorker for Suggestion of Brush-Grow to work with comfortable. I consider linear Grow for Diamter to be fine and no Problem if the Brush is 220 or 223 on second Selection.

The biggest brush size is huge - it covers nearly the screen. It makes no sense to have a bigger one iMHO.
