language spoken by $person

I would be neat to have some flag(s) for every profile which shows what language is spoken/understood by this person.

Would make communication much easier, if i knew, that $person can also understand German and i can write in German - or every other language.
Plus: For (older) people who aren't good in english would it be much easier and they participate more.

I think in first hand English, French, German (Gälisch braucht kein Mensch! :-P ) and Russian would be enough, but you people know better than me, where everybody is located.

IMO people can always use the location field if they want to add language info, or post to the non-English subforums?

Maintaining a set of flag icons is always a nightmare, and for multilingual countries, which language gets to use the flag?

One could also use the signature to provide additional spoken languages.

I do not see any advantage in those flags. Moreover i see some babylonian confusion if one thread contain mixed language posts. We have specific subforums for some languages, just the languages you want flags for (English, German, French). Ok Russian is missing, but i don't know users from russian.

And, in fact, we do not use any geo location apps yet. So we do not know where our users are located :-)
