Bug Description

Since I started playing Widelands I noticed that the parts of atlantean buildings that use player-colours are reeealy dark. Especially with the standard blue it makes it look as if it's well after dusk. To me it makes the whole scenery look darker, at least on greenland terrains (maybe fighting severe depressions makes me extra sensitive to such things).

After taking a look at some of the pngs I'm almost certain that this is due to them already containing the blue player-color. The other tribes' images only have a grayscale where the player-colores are placed in the game, including the atlantean flags, which appear correct (lighter) ingame.

Depending on how the process of editing the player-color-areas in usually works I'd volunteer for this job.

The proper way to do this is to edit the Blender models and re-export the pngs.

Making the player colors darker was a decision by the graphic artist at the time - the blue is not player color, it's there to darken the colors on purpose.

You should coordinate your work with Trimard, who has started working with the Blender files:
