Bug Description

For the wishlist:
I think it would help if Widelands showed some hint, whether a military sites is set to "perfer rookies" or "prefer heroes".
This should be seen without having to open each site's window individually.
Having this displayed graphically (maybe by means of a flag for each military building) would be nice, but it
probably is much easier to show this information in die "statistik string", that appears when you press the "S" key.
A simple one character indicator like "+" and "-", or an Up Arrow and Down Arrow might do.

Other things that are worth considering could be, for example, buildingsites showing whether needed wares are missing, being transported or all present at construction site. Also bug 1203056 might be related to this one.

"Personally, I would have favored a graphical indication (a flag or something), but since other players should not be able to see this, the status (S) is probably the way to go."

Good point. We want to deny enemy players access to this information, so a graphical change of the building itself is probably not the way to go.

Tweaking the status message is probably better, though as '+' is already used to indicate arriving soldiers I think we should avoid confusion by using the same character a second time. Not sure which symbols could be used instead though...

We could ad an icon in the statistics string over the buildings for this.

Theoretically, we could also change the building (adding a flag) and not render it for enemy buildings. This is confusing though when the "world" does not look the same for all players.
