Excessive disconnections with rtl8192se wifi module

Bug Description

90% of the time, wicd disconnects my wifi connection after successfully (!) receiving a dhcp ip address.
I'm running wicd 1.7.1-2 on Arch Linux.

lspci output:
03:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8191SEvB Wireless LAN Controller (rev 10)

The Arch wiki article describing the rtl8192se kernel module also mentions problems with wicd and suggests using NetworkManager instead:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wireless_Setup#rtl8192s

I have attached wicd.log to the bugreport.

Any hints on getting this fixed?

Thanks in advance,

Nils

I think I found the problem. It's related to dhcpcd forking after it receives an ip address. So it's not related to my specific chipset.
I'll open a separate bug, as the title of this one is not very accurate.
