WPA2 network detected as WEP

Bug Description

The WPA2 networks here at school are all detected as WEP networks by WiCD. I can't confirm that this bug prevents me from connecting to these networks, but I think that that is the case since I can't connect to them and I can't find any other reason.

Here is the network I am trying to connect to: (from iwlist)

The Important Part:
                 IE: IEEE 802.11i/WPA2 Version 1
       Group Cipher : CCMP
       Pairwise Ciphers (1) : CCMP
       Authentication Suites (1) : 802.1x
Could it be that the "802.11i/" is confusing WiCD?

Just for completeness, I attached the entire contents of "Cell 02"

Are you using the old ioctl backend? It did that.

No, I'm using the "external" backend

I'm experiencing the same bug here.
We have many networks, some WPA2 networks are correctly detected, some not, although iwlist output seems to be identical between both.

First network in iwlist output linked appears as WPA2 in wicd-client interface, and second as WEP. The main difference I saw is that first network is hidden.
