EAP-TLS without password on the Private Key

Wicd version: 1.6.2.2 and 1.7.0
Linux Slackware 13

The template for WPA2 Enterprise with EAP-TLS don't allow to use a private key without a password.
If i enter a fake password on the GUI and then delete the line on the configuration file (/var/lib/wicd/configurations/<ap_mac>) the wicd will regenerate the password variable with a space on it.

My work around was to modify the original template (cutting down the requirements variables) and adding CCMP to the 'pairwise' and 'group' variables.

I tried to post this on the forum but the registration is disable.

I test this template against a router D-Link DIR-600 running DD-WRT -v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std- and the Radius server is FreeRadius 2.1.3 on a machine running OpenBSD 4.7 (i386).
