not show status information (main gui and try icon)

Hi all!

I see others bug report but no one solve my problem.

Here my problem. When I connect with a wireless network WICD (1.7 from extra folder in slackware repositories) not show that is connected but, IS connected because I can use internet.

I'm using Slackware 13.1, Wicd 1.7
