Bug Description
I use Wicd in my smartQ7 whitch is a MID with the 1.5.9-4 version
The stock Os use a version of Ubuntu for ARM .
The WM is LXFCE
First time I laught WICD all is ok, connecting to WPA whitout problems.
After a reboot, I could'nt laught WICD, I have a message saying 'Now starting Wicd Network Manager', during 2 sec the proc use 100% and nothing else.
When I try in to launcht it in terminal I have the following log :
user@mojo:~$ wicd-client --no-tray
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/
import wicd.gui as gui
File "/usr/share/

dbus.exceptions
in etc/wicd I have several configuration files like
manager-
wireless-
I try to rename both in .old but no change
I look also in /usr/share/
in var/log/wicd i have a log of 0 bytes
I was hable to recover my wifi after flashing my firmware but loose wifi after a reboot.
I make this twice so I really think that is the rebbot of my SmartQ7 how done that.
After that I try to install 1.5.9-2 whitch is the last .deb I found.
Install is ok but I cannot connect to WPA (I'll looking for template)
After reboot I have the same symptom, cannot launch WICD
I post a message in a smartq board whith no issue at the moment :

So have you an idea for this bug ?
I would like trying the last version, but I don't know how to compil it.
Thanks for your help.
