Bug Description

Hello,
Debian uses a mechanism called "resolvconf" to use different DNS servers on different interfaces / connections. I've made a patch to support this, see attached.

I've applied it to the 1.5.9-2 package in Debian/sid.

Kindly,
David Paleino

Thanks for the patch.
I attached the Ubuntu package too (wicd is the project, wicd (ubuntu) is the ubuntu package).

David,

Any chance of pulling the experimental branch and working up a patch for it? The 1.5.x is pretty much in a -stable maintenance mode, but this is fair game for the upcoming 1.6.x series...

I'm not at all familiar with 1.6 code, never looked at it :)

Ah, I see. Well, at least Debian users are having resolvconf on 1.5.9 now ;), I
will take a look at 1.6 code ASAP -- but I should just familiarize a bit with
it before.

Ciao,
David

I actually ported the fix over to 1.6 yesterday. It still needs some testing though, and I need to decide if it should bet possible to use /etc/resolv.conf directly if resolvconf is installed.
