Sys Tray Popup Says Connected When Disconnected

My Specs;

Slackware 14.1 x86_64
Openbox 3.6.1
tint2
wicd 1.7.2.4 & 1.7.3

When I disconnect from wifi or lan, and mouse over wicd in my system tray from tint2, it will still say I'm connected.

The only way I can get this to work properly is if I log out of Openbox and log back in, then it shows I'm not connected.

Please see the attached screen shot, saying I'm connected when I am disconnected.

Since making this bug report, I am now on Slackware 14.2 x86_64 with wicd 1.7.4 and I'm still seeing this problem?

Has anyone had the time to look into this?
