Bug Description

I set IP-address to static as I said in #1084074 and expected Wicd to automatically reconnect after that. This didn't happen and according to ifconfig I am still using the IP-address which I got from DHCP.

I am using this repository: http://jupiter.hanskalabs.net/debian/

 * the Wicd log file (usually in /var/log/wicd/wicd.log)

Doesn't seem to say anything related.

 * your Linux distro

Hm, I probably didn't understanad.

Would you expect wicd to drop the current connection and reconnect, when you change network settings?
