Bug Description

I know that normally we would use unweighted events most of the time and I would understand the purpose of a warning here, but is there any technical reason for not allowing this? After all, LCIO has a field for an event weight that could just be used?

It even looks like the necessary parts are implemented

and it is just this `else` that is killing it :(

WHIZARD version: master, any?

I do not strictly need this as I can also go via hepmc to edm4hep but it would be nice to have imo.

Unless hepmc does not write out the event weights for additional alternative setups :(
