german umlaut in treeview

Bug Description
although there was already a fix, there seems to be missing something.
In the first attempt, the treeview with german umlauts looks correct (Picture 1)
If I expand one of the boxes, it is still ok (Picture 2)
If I klick on the little tree, the treechart now shows wrong characters (Picture 3)

I cannot reproduce this error. I have added this line to my php.ini, which lets me reproduce your other errors.
default_charset = "iso-8859-1"
I have created individuals with umlauts in their names. I can expand/collapse the boxes, and the umlauts are OK.
