browser issue with Dropboxes in Admin panel

With some browsers, specifically FireFox 29.x and the webkit-based browser used on the BlackBerry Playbook tablet, the dropboxes in the admin panel to approve a new member don't respond to changing the value from No to Yes. When the choice Yes is made, the value reverts back to the previous default value of No. Could be an issue with events handled by JavaScript.

I've tried FireFix 29.0.1 on windows/linux/mac - and they all work fine.

Can you use the firebug add-in to examine the XHR requests when you edit one of these yes/no dropdowns.

Is the response code 200 (success) or 406 (failure)?

PS the "approve user" option is a checkbox, not a dropdown.
