Bug Description
During a bit of dog fooding I wanted to use my Ubuntu phone to access my router settings. It did not ask for a login but instead immediately showed an error page as if the login had failed or was aborted. I know the router uses HTTP authentification.

Confirmed. I can reproduce by running the attached test server and browsing to http:// localhost: 3128.
