Bug Description

Ubuntu 15.04 OTA-11 on a BQ Aquaris E4.5

As from today we can't read or create new messages using the Facebook webapp with Ubuntu Touch as Facebook forces Android and iPhone users to move to it's dedicated Messenger app. Funny thing Facebook thinks Ubuntu Touch is Android...

I'm seeing the same, but there is a tiny "x" on the top right of that message, which can be used to dismiss it and continue. I can't see it in your screenshot, but try to press on the screen and it should appear.

Anyway, it would be good if we could modify our UserAgent string so that these messages are not shown at all.

I saw the massage with the x for about a week. Now the wording is different and the X disappeared. It seems there was a waiting period before they made it obligatory.

It seems that was a glitch yesterday. It's not working again. Asks me to download Messenger.

Yesterday I saw a friend with iPhone 5 and he can access his messages from the web browser. So that should be some user-agent related stuff and super easy to fix.
