[ebay] The ebay webapp does not browse to local specific website (if any)

Bug Description

It would be nice if the ebay webapp (and possibly others since it can be a rather generic optin configuration) could automatically open their homepage based on the user's localization.

I would expect this to be handled on the service provider side to offer to redirect the user to their local site

@Pat: yes exactly, except that it is not the case for some, and can be surprising for users, hence the feature report to keep track of it just in case,

I can confirm the issue with ebay (displays the US version of the website here in Spain with a French locale setting).
This also affects the browser FWIW (browsing to ebay.com doesn’t redirect to ebay.es).
