G+ application shouldn't notify on every post

Bug Description
Right now if I have the G+ app running it notifies me on every single post on G+.
This is too spammy, for example I follow the Mars rover, but that doesn't mean I want a notification every time it posts something.
However, I do want a notification when someone mentions me or posts to something I posted, so it should notify when that happens instead on every single post.

@amigadave I think this is not a Wishlist bug, this is really annoying and keeps people from using it. WebApps should notify when there are new Notifications, not on every post.
