I'm not really sure how to proceed, but I propose this:
* cherry-pick the good stuff (yes cereal, cal. no cache)
* keep it in the folder it's in now
* but chown it to chapterhosting and symlink it in to ~chapterhosting/wordpress-mu

We don't have to symlink, because of a mod_rewrite rule, I think.

If that rule does not exist, we can simply create it. But I think I did
already create it.

I think that rule does not exist, because for example
freeculture.org/projectpier doesn't take you where you'd hope (nor
does freeculture.org/cereal, although it doesn't 404).

Maybe the mod_rewrite rule only exists on japan rose or something?
