Bug Description

Celsius (ºC) is not the SI unit of temperature. The SI unit of temperature is Kelvin (K) (note no degree (º)).
Label for Celsius should be metric (ºC)
Label for Kelvin (if implemented) should be SI (K)

SI *is* the modern form of the metric system.
Also SI has several deviations, for every day use, Celsius scale is one of them:

I don't think there is any use of kelvins in weather indicator, but renaming 'SI' to 'SI (metric)' may be useful

Changed in weather-indicator:
importance: Undecided → Low
milestone: none → 11.05.15
status: New → Confirmed

I've added Kelvin support in 13.06.01 but the options should probably be renamed as above

no longer affects: weather-indicator/3.0

Just to add my US$0.02, I think the nomenclature

Imperial Fahrenheit (ºF)
Metric Celcius (ºC)
SI Kelvin (K)

might satisfy cultural and technical requirements as well as make explicitly clear which units are being used in the Weather-Indicator display.

I hope you will send out notification when Rainy 9 is released for testing.

edit:

perhaps more explicit would be:

Imperial - degrees Fahrenheit (ºF)
Metric - degrees Celsius (ºC)
SI - Kelvins (K)

I should have also spelled "Celsius" correctly. Ah well .... :-)
