indicator-weather crashed with AttributeError in menu_locations(): 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'set_submenu'

I have just installed indicator-weather (the saucy version on trusty) and tried to hit [OK] in the configuration window. Doing that produces the following output in the console and the 'an error has occoured' window. The configuration-window does not hide and it seems that nothing else happens.
