AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'data' for pywapi 0.3.7

when using pywapi 0.3.7 (latest version from ppa). I can do

pywapi.get_location_ids('Vienna')

and get a return value of {u'AUXX0025': u'Vienna, 9, Austria'}, which seems to be fine. But then

pywapi.get_weather_from_weather_com('AUXX0025')

fails with the error in the description.

pywapi.get_weather_from_weather_com('USNY0996') works fine however (New York as an example).
