Bug Description

The application is stuck to a certain time. It is stuck at the refresing mode but nothing changes after,even if you change the Data source or something else. Purge remove and reinstall did change nothing.

This bug showed up just a few days ago, I believe after Unity update. When run in console, indicator-weather returns:

/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gobject/constants.py:24: Warning: g_boxed_type_register_static: assertion `g_type_from_name (name) == 0' failed

Same problem here.
New install of Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity.
All fully updated from Update Manager.
Only displays orange circle with white cloud (icon).
Selecting "forcast" works, however, but always
have the standard orange circle in the top panel displayed.

The problem seems that it fails to format sunrise and sunset times to the dropdown menu in non-english locales.

I attached a small patch that writes (fail) to these times but recovers all other values.

I too have got this problem, since a unity update. Weather Indicator app is stuck on refreshing. Uninstall and re-install have failed to solve it. This is in an English locale too.

This broke for me, but it had nothing to do with any update... Isn't it because it's trying to receive new information from earthtools.org - and that site is down?
