Peons run away after being attacked, even if you order them to attack

Bug Description

Imagine the enemy is attacking you with a grunt, and you have no grunts. You take 3 peons and attack the grunt. They could have killed the grunt, but instead, they run away and get killed by him.

Yeah, issuing an attack command should override a peon's cowardice.

Did peons run away in vanilla? Or is the coward attribute a Wargus addition?

In Warcraft 2, they run away if they get attacked, but if you tell them to attack, they don't (unlike in Wargus).

Also, right click doesn't make a peon attack.

Right click to attack will be easy to fix. The other issue not so much.
