Wally can not change desktop wallpaper in Ubuntu Oneiric (11.10).

Yes, it works.

What fails is automatic WM detection, in case GnomeShell is not used. You can make Wally working again typing:

wally -forcewm GnomeShell

I'll release a new version that solves the detection problem in few days or a couple of week.

Btw, I'm talking about my Wally release, 2.4.2. I'm not responsible of the package present in the Ubuntu repository, that's an old version, not maintained by me.
