Vocal freezes on open

I did fresh install of elementary, installed vocal, added some podcasts.

Vocal stays locked once open. Clicking on anything yields zero results. No menu, add feed, selecting a current feed, nada

In top it shows Vocal using 100% of my CPU

Started with terminal get the following when app loads.
