thread toggle expand/collapse triggers buffer modified

Bug Description

In VM-8.2.0a (and perhaps others) expanding or collapsing a thread (e.g. using "T") causes the buffer to appear modified. The expander collapser function should prevent that from happening since only the summery is modified and not the underlying folder

Actually the folder is modified. The expand/collapsed flag is now written
into the headers. Perhaps it was an overkill. I will change it eventually.

Cheers,
Uday
