Bug Description
If VM finds an auto-save file when it starts up, it puts the folder in read-only mode. If it needs to show a headers-only message, it tries to connect to the server and asks for a password. If you type a wrong password, then you seem to be stuck. The only way to reconnect is by typing `g'. But you can't do `g' in a read-only folder.
