Bug Description

FSF Emacs writes out cached data vectors with strings of the form #(...), which cannot be read by XEmacs. It gives error messages of the form

Bad x-vm-v5-data header at 80002 in buffer test-mime, ignoring

Fix committed in revision 1029.

But, still, problems persist with the test-mime file.
Bad data found at positions 68165, 72522, 81237 at work.

Revision 1221 fixes the vm-discard-cached-data, so that it can be used to clear the buggy cached-data strings in the folders.

It is now revision 1220.1.1.

(This kind of recoding is normal in bzr. A bit of arithmetic is needed to find the right revision when merges have been done.)
