(Buffer-type is being switched from 'process to 'folder.) The problem is that vm-imap-check-connection throws exceptions, but these are not always caught. Needs cleaning up. (Buffer-type is being switched from 'process to 'folder.) The tracing error message is "folder buffer being entered from process". The problem is that vm-imap-check-connection throws exceptions, but these are not always caught. Needs cleaning up.
