Bug Description

VM 8.1.2

The function vm-fetch-imap-message creates a timer but does not cancel it at the end of its run. Over time, these timers accumulate until emacs is constantly consing and garbage collecting.

Attached is a proposed patch.

I see this is fixed in the trunk already, but 8.1.2 is shipped in a number of linux distributions currently.
