Sorry for the delay in replying.

Someone needs to confirm that it builds, installs, runs and doesn't
break any reverse dependencies.

It seems, that testdisk and potentially partclone can become uninstallable after ntfs-3g 2014.2.15AR.3-3 (or newer) backport to Ubuntu 14.04, see bug LP: #1429125 can't install testdisk unmet dependencies libntfs-3g852
