Bug Description
xdg-open is a DE-generic "open" command, seems to be available both in Arch Linux and (X)Ubuntu, that uses gnome-open in gnome, exo-open in xfce, kde-open in kde, etc. It would make sense to call this instead of gnome-open in AmpacheGUI.py line 2910
