Bug Description

Many of the default applications in Ubuntu will not close on the default Gnome shortcut ctrl+q or ctrl+w, instead they use a Windows style alt+f4.
This is inconsistent and really annoying when trying to establish a work-flow.

For Checkbox this stems from the fact that it has no menus and thus no accelerators have been provided; only the standard "close window" function, mapped to alt+f4 by default, is in place.
We'll look at implementing this. Set as importance: medium as it's a usability issue with no impact on functionality (other than annoyance).
