Bug Description

Binary package hint: vino

Using a dual screen configuration with separate X screens (:0 and :1), vino-server does not start. It seem to be binding to the same port twice. This bug is mentioned on http://www.uluga.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1603059 and there is also a dirty quick-fix (force the vino-server not to detect multiple screens).

I can confirm that the workaround worked for me, although vino-server needs to be patched to provide a permanent fix.

I have now upgraded to 11.04, and I find that this problem is still with us. I just wanted to "bump" this bug-report, so that it doesn't fall through the cracks. Is someone working on this?

Yes, workaround from http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1603059 works well, but when it will be fixed? As I see this bug is opened in 2010, but today we have 2013 :)!
