Binary package hint: vinagre

I have a suggestion for Vinagre. What do you think about disabling "localhost" as target for vpn? When you try to connect to "localhost", this is a recursive progress (see screenshot).

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue , in the default Ubuntu 9.10 install , that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of the project.

For further info about papercuts criteria , pls read > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut

Don't worry though, This bug has been marked as "invalid" ONLY in the papercuts project.

disabling localhost would also disable ssh tunnels, which would make vinagre completely useless for those that admin remote systems. This could be overriden with the "use host" option, as long as it remains fixed (it has been broken in the last 2 releases).

if it's possible to detect when the remote connect is to itself, this would fix the "problem" properly, but that would be have to be part of the vnc protocol itself.
