vim already-editing message should not page

Binary package hint: vim

Upon opening a file that is already opened by vim, it will present a dialog prompt. The prompt can be slightly too large to fit on one standard-size terminal, which makes the correct next action ambiguous for people who see this dialog all the time and know what should be done.

    If this is the case, use ":recover" or "vim -r draw.cpp"
    to recover the changes (see ":help recovery").
    If you did this already, delete the swap file ".draw.cpp.swp"
    to avoid this message.

That -more- is a prompt to press enter or space to see the rest. If that "more" is not there, then space or enter also answers the next prompt.

After space/enter, the remainder is the single line "Swap file ".foo.swp" already exists!"

The prompt is "[O]pen Read-Only, (E)dit anyway, (R)ecover, (Q)uit, (A)bort:" Space and enter, the message-paging keys also answer this dialog, which causes problems.
