Scroll lock key is not working

Bug Description

I have faced one issue in Ubuntu 8.10.

In side the OS, any keyboard (USB,PS/2) scroll lock key is not working.

After editing "xmodmap -e "add mod3 = scroll_lock" Scroll lock is working fine.

But after reboot again scroll lock key is not working.

How to solve this issue.

Can you give us the output of "xmodmap -pm" command after reboot?
Then you can execute "xmodmap -e "add mod3 = scroll_lock" then again
give us the output of "xmodmap -pm"
