Please report these as separate issues. This bug can be about video
toggling.

What is the exact error? Does the video toggle function key not work?
Does $ xrandr --auto work?

Boot into recovery mode and try:
# pm-suspend

Does this suspend the system?

Then boot to recovery mode again and try:
# pm-hibernate

Does this hibernate the system?

Unload all modules not needed from recovery mode and try pm-suspend
again. Use

$ lsmod

to get a list of module. Unload a module with

$ modprobe -r <modulename>

unload the LAN , CDROM, and audio modules also suspend is not working.

in graphical mode, if press shutdown option all other machine shows 4 options (suspend,standby,restart,shutdown). But in this case it shows only 3 options (restart,hibernation,shutdown)

Please try to unload all modules that can be unloaded. At times USB is at fault.

What is the exact problem when suspending? Does the system suspend at all? Is resume broken?
