Bug Description
vex.cpp not able to compile because metadata constructor looking for the current parental level, rather than an int.

commit 419 should have this properly.... but somebody should verify that it's done correctly
It would also be nice to have a test for it maybe, so that we don't trample over parental controls as we continue.
