Bug Description

A small percentage of wallpapers presented by variety I would deem "acceptable" wallpapers. Frequently:

- Wallpapers include people
- Wallpapers include inappropriate subject matter - violence, NFSW content etc
- Wallpapers are poor quality (fuzzy, dark, too bright)
- Wallpapers are too "noisy" There's so much going on I can't see my desktop icons

Whenever I see a wallpaper I like I always add it to my favourites, and if I see wallpapers I don't like then I delete them. Likewise if I see something really offensive then I mark it at NSFW.

I tried using "Set Exif Rating" to rate images and help improve the quality of wallpapers for myself and other users BUT.....

- Right clicking on the system tray, going to Image -> Set Exif Rating -> and selecting a star is a lot of steps especially when doing so frequently.

I rotate my desktop wallpaper every 10 minutes, and if if I get a wallpaper I don't like I may rotate through 10 in a row before I find another one I like.

I was thinking it might be nice if there was some sort of desktop widget/gadget that would expose the ExIF star rating so I can click one thing instead of four.

If variety had a floating set of stars on my desktop that I could quickly click and easily rate wallpapers. I'd be MUCH more likely to rate more wallpapers. Right now its too much work so I don't rate frequently.

Basically the desire is the default sources to be both fully safe and of higher quality.

Also, for now the server-side support is turned off, so there is nowhere the rating would go, even if you had a way to rate.

"Set EXIF rating" is just touching the EXIF tags in the image, and is not reflected anywhere else. This is a very old option that will be removed, as it is confusing users in what it does, and it's almost useless in it's current behaviour.

I'll mark the bug Wishlist, for whenever we have again a working serverside support.
