Support symlinked folders

My Photos folder contains some recent good albums, some older which are not so good, and some unsorted stuff. However all of these are photos and therefore they all belong to this folder.

Now I want to use Variety to use good photos from recent good albums as desktop wallpaper. I have made a folder that contains symlinks to the good albums. However when I point Variety to this folder it does not follow symlinks and does not find any photos.

My other choices are all subpar. I can point Variety to all photos an often see bad photos. I can point Variety to a single good album and miss photos from other good albums. I can copy good albums to a separate location and ruin the good folder structure I enjoy now.

Please add a feature to Variety to follow symlinks to folders and individual files.

I am using version 0.6.2-0~572~201609232248~ubuntu16.04.1 on Ubuntu 16.04 + Unity
