feature request - artist credit on screen

i'm new to linux mint, so still finding my way around. Great to find your software (windows does this slideshow desktop by default, but your version is way better).

Couldn't find any bugs, but the link i followed from the app said this is the place for feature requests too.

another app i use creates a slideshow (xnview), but it adds the option to put file & folder names on screen as well.. this would be great, so we can see at a glance where the image comes from. Especially given i've downloaded a bunch from instagram and many places, and i'd like to know what i'm looking at.

Linux mint 17 with Mate, dual monitor.

BTW it's great the way your app recognises both monitors easily in mate. I tried running kde and it couldn't even do it without extra software (kscreen).. and then it would only give your app access to one of the monitors.

okay, wow. I suspected this would be somehow already available... don't know if it was there before or if it's a new feature in the update.. but the way you have variety sitting in the panel, and i can find out exactly where it is.. brilliant.

As you found out, all the information about the image is available in Variety's menu. Closing this.
