Menu button missing from toolbar in Beta

The older versions of Variety had a menu button in the toolbar, which is now missing after the update. None of your news posts suggest that this feature was meant to be taken out of the latest version. I've already tried reinstalling Variety.

Gnome Shell
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
